the idea
Serendib Soul is a 12-day stay by the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Sri Lanka. Daily surfing, yoga, endless exploring and trying new things, but also plenty of time to slow down and do absolutely nothing. Not everything needs to be planned. Some of our best experiences happen when we leave room for things to unfold naturally. And that’s exactly what Serendib Soul is about.

Day 1
Arrival
We’ll pick you up at the airport and head south towards Matara, where the adventure begins. That evening, we’ll gather for dinner, meet the crew, and ease into the days ahead — filled with ocean, surf, yoga, new experiences, and 12 days far from the usual routine.
Day 2 - Day 11
A Typical Day
Mornings are for surfing. We’ll split into groups based on your surf level, with each group heading out at a different time with our local instructors. And if one session isn’t enough, you’re free to get back in the water on your own in the afternoon. Surfboards and all the gear you need will be available throughout the entire stay. In the late afternoon, we’ll meet for yoga. A chance to stretch, slow down, and give your body a little recovery after a day in the water. But no two days will look exactly the same. We’ll mix surf days with trips and little adventures around the area. We’re intentionally keeping the schedule flexible, so we can shape the days around the weather, the waves, and whatever we feel like doing. No rushing from one thing to the next. Less planning, more freedom, and more space to enjoy Sri Lanka exactly the way we want to.

I’m Laura, I do a bit of everything and preferably all at once, because I believe life shouldn’t be boring (: I love the ocean and sunshine, and my worst nightmare is a snowless winter in Europe. I love creating, bringing people together, and creating spaces where they can slow down, switch off and reconnect with themselves — whether through yoga, meditation, or creative activities that keep your hands busy and your mind quiet. Sri Lanka has a special place in my heart, although my relationship with curry is a little complicated. I lived in a tent for a year, I can roll my tongue into a tube, I’m terrified of big spiders, and I love meeting new people.

Once we confirm your spot, a 30% deposit is due within 48 hours by bank transfer. That's what officially reserves your place.

The rest comes later
You pay the remaining 70% no later than 60 days before the trip starts.

The deposit is non-refundable. But if we can fill your spot with someone else, we'll happily give it back to you.
