I spent ten years being paid to snowboard, which is a great way to avoid ever having a real job — and got to travel the world doing it, hitting mountains for winter and waves for the rest of the year.
Then I had kids, which people love to tell you is the end of that lifestyle. It isn't — it just means better logistics and a much higher tolerance for chaos in your carry-on.
Traveling is still the best way for me to switch off autopilot for a while. To go somewhere where I don’t know all the answers, I don’t know exactly what tomorrow will bring, and sometimes I don’t even know where we’ll end up for the night. That’s usually where the best things happen.
And that’s exactly how we put together our Dip & Dream trips, too. We have a plan, but not one so rigid that it gets in the way of all the good things that come our way. We want to show you places we love, offer you experiences you might not have chosen for yourselves, and leave enough room for completely unplanned moments, too. Because those often end up being the best ones.
